Mrs. Sleep was born Feb. 5, 1947, in Lafayette, Ind., and was a 29-year Ventura resident. Mrs. Sleep is survived by her daughters, Laurie Sleep and Amy Sleep-Kelly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Steve Sleep in 2004. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27 at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Donations in Jane Sleep's name may be made to the Ventura County Medical Center Auxiliary "Celebration of life," 3291 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, CA 93003. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, Ventura.
