Everett L. Buttleman
BUTTLEMAN, MR. EVERETT L. Whitehall/Montague Mr. Everett L. Buttleman, age 87, died Sunday, January 11, 2004. He was born in Montague, MI on September 17, 1916 to Walter & Emma (Schultz) Buttleman & married the former Martha Roltsch on July 10, 1942 in Whitehall, MI. Mr. Buttleman served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been employed as a machinist at Weiner Foundry & also worked as a custodian & bus driver for Whitehall Schools until retiring. Mr. Buttleman was a member of Ferry Memorial Reformed Church of Montague & was an avid fisherman. SURVIVORS 1 son, Dennis (Catherine) Buttleman of Philadelphia, PA; 1 daughter, Darlene (Kent) Scouten of Rothbury; 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey Barnhardt, Janet (Barnhardt) Stevens, Robert Barnhardt, Dennis Buttleman, Jr. & Katrina Buttleman; 1 great granddaughter, Kaley Stevens; 2 sisters-in-law, Alice Buttleman of VA & Donna Mae Roltsch of Montague; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha on October 3, 1997. SERVICE Saturday, January 17, 2004, 2:00 PM at Ferry Memorial Reformed Church of Montague with Rev. Dick B. Klaver officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Ferry Memorial Reformed Church of Montague.
