Information from Rick Fekken: Ruth's mother passed away when Ruth was quit young and she went to live with uncle Jake and aunt Lizzie. After Ruth's father remarried Ruth went back to live with him and his new wife, but was treated so bad that she went back to uncle Jake and aunt Lizzie and they supposedly adopted her. Although Ruth had told me that she could never find any adoption papers. Ruth had family still living in Chicago at the time of her passing. |
