Randell Earl Wissner ("Weeze"), age 62, of Twin Lake left us far too soon on July 27, 2016 after his battle with malignant melanoma cancer. Randy graduated from Muskegon High School in 1972. Shortly after, he attended college at Michigan State University, and even played football there for a while. While attending college, he began working for UPS where he delivered packages to the Muskegon area for over 40 years. After college, he met Pamela Lohman, who was introduced to him by a mutual friend, Cindy Ribesky. They would go on to be married, and spent over 36 wonderful years together. Randy and Pamela raised three children; Ryan, Emilee Chick, and Paige. He was a loving husband, father, papa, and friend to many. As a family, they loved spending time outdoors, most commonly at their cottage in Twin Lake. He was a huge Muskegon Big Reds fan and loved watching the Michigan State Spartans. Randy was known for his many sayings, most commonly, "It's all good!" Family was tremendously important to Randy. He will be dearly missed. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene (Bosma) Wissner, and his infant sister JoLynn. Randy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Pamela; children Ryan and Kylie Wissner, Emilee and James Chick, and Paige Wissner; granddaughter Charlotte Chick; father Earl Wissner; sister Sue Ellen and Victor Walter; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. A time to celebrate Randy's life will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel in Muskegon, from 12:00-3:00pm. We will be sharing special memories of Randy starting at 2:00pm. Following the memorial, there will be a celebration of his life continued at the family's cottage in Twin Lake per Randy's wishes. http://obits.dignitymemorial.com/dignity-memorial/obituary.aspx?n=Randell-Wissner&lc=4030&pid=180814147&mid=7027177&locale=en_US# |
