Frank was born in the home of his mother and father located on Lohman Road in Claybanks Township west of Rothbury, Michigan. He served in WWII in the 743rd battalion stationed in Australia and New Guinea. After the war, he came home to farm again. Frank and Marion made their home on Girdle Road (56th Ave.) about 1/8 of a mile south of Winston Road in Claybanks Township. They are members of the Claybanks Methodist Church.
