LOHMAN, MR. GORDON L. Montague Mr. Lohman, age 67, died Saturday, February 7, 2009. He was born October 10, 1941, in Shelby, to Lester and Bernice ‎(Rolph)‎ Lohman. A graduate of Montague High School, on May 26, 1961, he married the former Carol Ford. He had worked at DuPont, and then worked for the IBEW in overhead line construction, and was the founder of Double L Enterprises of Montague. Mr. Lohman was a member of Algot Johnson American Legion Post #69, White Lake Eagles Aerie #3214, had been a ferrier, was a member of the Michigan Quarterhorse Association, Michigan Reining Horse Association, Muskegon County Sheriff Posse and was a founding Board member of the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association. He served in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Troy and Cory Lohman. FAMILY: His wife, Carol; 3 sons, Jeff ‎(Kerry)‎ Lohman and their children, Kendra, Kaylee, Kassey & Jake, Kevin ‎(Maella)‎ Lohman and their children, Carol, Heidi, & Amy and Kyle ‎(Stacey)‎ Lohman and their children, Riley & Weston; 3 sisters, Elaine ‎(David)‎ Pilon, Vicki ‎(Eric)‎ Vanderlaan and Pam ‎(Randy)‎ Wissner; 1 brother, George ‎(Diane)‎ Lohman; foster son, Michael Bosma; close family member, Big John Lohman. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, February 13, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at Montague United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook St., Montague, with Mr. James K. Tanis officiating.
