Obituary from Muskegon Chronicle, Muskegon Michigan dated July 17, 2002 Born: October 4th, 1926 Rothbury, Michigan Died: July 15th, 2002 Muskegon, Michigan Mrs. Eunice L. Fekken, age 75, passed away Monday evening, July 15, 2002 in Muskegon, MI. She was born October 4, 1926 in Rothbury, MI to Victor and Louise (Timmich) Lohman and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On February 12, 1946, she married Benjamin Fekken in Montague, MI and he survives her. She worked for 20 years as a sales clerk and interior decorator with Burcon Home Furnishings. Mrs. Fekken attended Fellowship Reformed Church. Along with her husband, Ben, she is SURVIVED by 3 children, Alan (Julie) Fekken of Rothbury, Brock (Beverly) Fekken of Gettysburg, PA, and Sharon (Scott) Nienhuis of Norton Shores; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Wesley (Doris) Lohman of Montague, Alvin (Aletta) Lohman of Plymouth, MI, Donald (Dale) Lohman of Montague; 2 sisters, Ethel Hay, Bernice Norberg, 1 sister-in-law, Bernice Lohman all of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brother, and 3 sisters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 19, 2002 at Fellowship Reformed Church with Rev. Greg VanderWeer officiating. INTERMENT will take place at New Era Cemetery. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, please consider the Youth Group of Fellowship Reformed Church. |
