Death followed a lingering illness of considerable duration. At the time of her death she was 62 years, 2 months and 5 days. She was born October 29, 1877, in the country of Holland. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. J.P. Geraets of this community. The Slinger family have lived in Dell Rapids for many years and the deceased has acquired a wide circle of sincere friends who will miss the associations with this splendid kindly neighbor.
